How does the 'GEM - GPS' work:
  The device is a movement data logger, so is not designed for being stationary and also is not live like a vehicle real time Sat Nav. It's outstanding features are recording data every second which gives speed, longitude and latitude. On the birds return this detailed information is then downloaded onto your computer and then viewed on screen using the free to use Google Earth.
The device is fitted to the birds leg.
